The Vivo X80 Pro+ could launch in October with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

That’s not all, though. The Vivo X80 Lite is also tipped to arrive, and it will likely launch in October as well. Now, the Vivo X80 Pro is already a truly premium smartphone, so you may wonder how will Vivo improve on that. Well, according to rumors, not only will it include a new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, but an improved set of cameras and charging. The difference certainly won’t be huge, as the Vivo X80 Pro already has so much to offer. In fact, when the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro dropped, not many people expected the Vivo X80 Pro+ to arrive at all. It was assumed that the Vivo X80 Pro took its place entirely, and that the Vivo X90 series will follow.

The ‘Plus’ model may include 120W wired charging, and improved cameras

Based on this report, however, Vivo is very much planning to release the Vivo X80 Pro+. It is rumored to include 120W fast wired charging, and a different set of cameras. A 50-megapixel main camera, with a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera is tipped. Two additional 50-megapixel cameras are also rumored to be included on the back (Samsung’s ISOCELL JN1 and JN2 cameras). As a reminder, the Vivo X80 Pro supports 80W wired, and 50W wireless charging. The phone is equipped with 50, 8, 12, and 48-megapixel cameras. The Vivo X80 Pro is already one of the best camera smartphones on the market, so it will be interesting to see the difference. What about the Vivo X80 Lite? Well, we don’t know much about that device, but it could launch with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. It will definitely be inferior to all other X80 series smartphones. The rest of its specs are a mystery.
