This information comes from Ice Universe, as he shared the info on Twitter. The tipster said that the phone is coming in December, but he did not specify the launch date.

The Vivo X90 Pro+ will include mouth-watering specs, it would seem

Having said that, he basically confirmed that a 1-inch camera sensor will be included, in addition to the new telephoto sensor, and new telephoto algorithm. That’s not all, though, not even close. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel this smartphone, while Vivo will include new LPDDR5X RAM here. On top of that, the all-new UFS 4.0 flash storage will be included, and Samsung’s top-end E6 display. Vivo is going all out with this smartphone, it would seem. The Vivo X80 Pro is the company’s current flagship, and an immensely compelling phone. It is one of the best camera smartphones on the market, and its successor may bring some drastic changes to the table. Needless to say, that 1-inch camera sensor does open up a lot of possibilities camera-wise, as long as the software is great. That has been the case on the Vivo X80 Pro (and on its predecessor), so we have no reason to doubt Vivo at this point.

ZEISS will, once again, play a huge role in the camera department

Vivo actually cooperates with ZEISS, which does have a camera input. Not only is ZEISS’ hardware in use, but also the company’s T* anti-glare coating, a ZEISS shooting mode, and more. Vivo and ZEISS have been releasing some really compelling cameras on smartphones for years now. The Vivo X90 Pro+ does look excellent on paper, and it will be interesting to see what it’s able to do once it launches. Chances are that the global model will arrive next year, though. Smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 won’t start shipping until 2023, that’s for sure. So, we’re still some time away from that point. We’ll likely see many more rumors and leaks regarding the Vivo X90 Pro+.
