The four-stage cleaning system on the DEEBOT X1 Omni is really impressive actually. ECOVACS uses dual spinning brushes which loosens dirt, then a rolling brush in the center paired with 5,000Pa suction power to pick up that dirt and dust. Finally, on appropriate floors, it’ll mop the floors with the OZMO Turbo 2.0 mop. With the DEEBOT X1 Omni rated at 5,000Pa suction, it’s able to pick up dirt and dust that is deep in the carpet. The mopping part of this cleaning system is really impressive actually. It’s the OZMO Turbo 2.0 system, which uses two mopping pads towards the back of the vacuum. It does 180 RPM, and has up to 6N of downward pressure. What this means is that it is able to scrub your floors, getting the dried messes off of the floors, with ease. ECOVACS does allow you to choose how much water it uses for mopping. Obviously with dirtier floors, you’ll want to use the highest water setting. Luckily, the ECOVACS app does allow you to change this setting on a per-room basis. So you can have it scrub the floors harder, and even mop the floor twice in the living room, and a lower water flow in a hallway or bathroom, that might not be as messy.
Your robot vacuum has its own voice assistant – YIKO
ECOVACS debuted YIKO, its own voice assistant, on the DEEBOT X1 Omni this year. Which allows you to start cleaning your home without touching your phone, having a Nest Hub or touching your robot vacuum. The DEEBOT X1 Omni is always listening, and with YIKO all you need to say is “OK, YIKO” and then give it a command. It can do things like Real-Time cleaning and cleaning for specific rooms. There’s also commands for auto-emptying the robot vacuum, as well as adjusting settings, and you can check the real-time status of DEEBOT and even get usage help. The point of YIKO is to help make it even easier to clean your home, and unleash more human-machine possibilities. Since this is using artificial intelligence, it’s going to get even better with time.
