The Xiaomi 13 Pro leak suggests powerful specs will be placed inside the phone

Based on this spec sheet, however, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be an immensely powerful smartphone. The camera sensors seem top-notch, Qualcomm’s next-gen flagship is tipped, and more. Let’s get down to it. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO display, says the tipster. He specifically mentions the E6 panel from Samsung, which is basically the latest one Xiaomi can get its hands on.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with up to 12GB of RAM

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC was also mentioned, and that chip will bring a notable performance boost, without increasing power consumption compared to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, allegedly. That’s a great combination, as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 has excellent power consumption, much better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The phone is said to come in both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. We’re not sure yet, but Xiaomi may utilize the brand new LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage here.

120W will be in use, while Android 13 will come pre-installed

A 4,800mAh battery is also mentioned by the tipster, and the device will support 120W charging. That goes for wired charging, but 50W wireless charging will likely also be on offer. The Surge C2 and P2 chips will also be included, as will Android 13. Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 will come pre-installed on the device, but we may get MIUI 13 globally. Either way, both will be based on Android 13. Now, in terms of cameras. The phone is tipped to utilize three 50-megapixel cameras on the back. The main one is definitely grabbing attention. That will be a 50-megapixel 1-inch camera (Sony’s IMX989 sensor), the same one Xiaomi used in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. That is the first 1-inch camera sensor made specifically for phones, and it offers great results.

1-inch camera sensor will lead the pack

A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera will also be utilized, as will a 50-megapixel telephoto unit. A single 32-megapixel camera will sit on the phone’s front side. Leica’s color science was also mentioned by the tipster, though that is to be expected. Leica’s lenses will also be in use. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is expected to launch in China before the end of this year, alongside the Xiaomi 13. Both of those phones will be coming to global markets in early 2022.
