Xiaomi has announced its very first mini PC product

This device launched in China, alongside the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, basically. Chances are we will see it in global markets in the future as well, though it may have a slightly higher price tag. The device is simply called ‘Mini PC’, and Xiaomi collaborated with Intel on this one. The device is fueled by the Intel Core i5-1240P processor, Intel’s 12th-gen CPU. That is a 12-core CPU with a 16-thread heterogeneous design. It has a maximum turbo frequency of 4.4GHz, and comes with the Intel Iris Xe graphics.

It is made out of aluminum, and has plenty of ports

This Mini PC is made out of aluminum, it’s actually a one-piece aluminum alloy body. It weighs 437 grams. There are three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports there, one USB 2.0 port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and two HDMI 2.1 ports (bandwidth 18Gbps). Xiaomi also included 16GB of DDR4 RAM (2x8GB) here. This is a 3,200MHz dual-channel RAM, by the way. You can expand that up to 64GB, though, if you want.

It comes with 512GB of storage, but it’s expandable up to 4TB

There is also a 512GB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD drive included here. You can, however, expand that as well. This mini PC supports storage expansion of up to 4TB, if you need it. Windows 11 comes pre-installed on the device, and there is also a 3.5mm headphone jack included. Bluetooth 5.3 is supported, as is Wi-Fi 802.11 ax (2.4GHz/5GHz).

Heat dissipation system is also included

The Xiaomi Mini PC measures 112 x 112 x 38mm, in case you were wondering. There is also a large 4,600 RPM fan on the inside, and a dual heat pipe heat dissipation system. The Xiaomi Mini PC comes in black, and it’s priced at CNY3,999 ($574) in China. You can get a storage-free model for CNY2,999 ($431), if you want, though. This product may also arrive to global markets, we’ll see.
