The Galaxy A53 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, it is powered by the Exynos 1280 processor, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s also a massive 5000mAh capacity battery inside, which is going to keep it powered all day long. Possibly even two days. Now is this the most powerful smartphone on the market? Not even close. But will it get all the tasks you throw at it, done? Yes it will. There’s a quad-camera setup on the back, like a lot of these cheaper phones, it’s more like a dual camera setup. It sports a 64-megapixel main sensor, 12-megapixel ultrawide, 5-megapixel macro and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The depth sensor you can’t actually “use” and the macro will only come on when it thinks you need it. Making it effectively a dual-camera setup here. But if you don’t need any fancy camera features, then this is a good option for sure. This is a 5G smartphone, and here in the US it will work on AT&T and T-Mobile’s 5G network. For Verizon, you’ll only get the Sub-6 5G network. For mmWave or C-Band you’d need to purchase the Verizon variant of the A53 5G. It is also on sale, but you’ll need to finance it instead of buying unlocked. It will also cost you $360 over the course of three years, instead of the $349 for this unlocked model.
