The Lindrs app allows you to rent tools with ease
Regardless of whether you’re a contractor who needs a specific type of tool that you don’t have at the moment, or you simply need some tools to fix up the house, this app has you covered. First and foremost, do note that Lindrs is region-locked. This app is available in the US, but I’m not sure it can be installed anywhere else. I can confirm, however, that it is not installable in Europe, though. In any case, renting tools is the only service this app provides, as expected. The company behind it likes to think of itself as Uber for tools, basically.
This app’s design is really simple, which is not a bad thing at all
The app design is really simple here. If you take a look at the screenshots provided below, you’ll get to see it yourself. The company decided to combine white, light gray, and orange colors to create a functional UI. The app allows you to see your rental requests, current rentals, completed rentals, and several other details. Your Lindrs app dashboard will look a bit different depending on whether you’re a renter or an owner. If you’re a renter, you’ll see a search bar at the top, that will allow you to search for a specific type of tool. Below, rental requests, current rentals, and completed rentals are located, on the main screen. For owners, they have those three menus as well, but no search bar at the top. They do have the “Toolbox” submenu, though, that allows them to see what tools they put on offer. Having said that, this app is free to download and use, and there are no ads included here.
